Peter Savage is a Cincinnati Ohio based musician who specializes in drumming, but can also write music, and mix/master/record

Peter started playing drums at about 13 years of age, and has continually been honing his skills since. In his early years he took basic piano classes, but his interest quickly shifted to the drums, where he found that he felt at home. Eventually, as he continued to work on his skill, he came to the realization that he wanted to play drums for the rest of his life.

He studied at CCM with greats such as Art Gore, John Von Ohlen, Craig Bailey and many more. He plays around town in cover gigs, as well as the Annó Project, his heavier rock/metal/indie project Antematter, The Bob Ross Jazz Quartet, Jazz Friends and many others. According to his professors, and his audience members around him, he is one of the quickest improving musicians in the area, and continues to strive for the next level in his playing. As for his collaborators, they say he is very focused, and continues to improve upon his music continuously, going above and beyond what is expected of him.

Peter's playing is often compared to Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, and Elvin Jones, which also happen to be his biggest influences behind the kit. His genres include Jazz, Rock, Funk, and Latin predominantly. It is often said that his playing sounds loose, while

simultaneously feeling strong in energy and excitement, with an added edge, and

interesting musical vocabulary that

separates his sound from everyone else.

Peter learned to mix and record through his college years from his experience studying under Greats Ric Hordinski, and Tobe Donahue, but has had an interest in the art since his freshman year in high school. He has his production of Boomerang Sky's "Incandescent Grumblings, Volume Two", as well as his solo material, his work of 39West's "Worlds Apart" and many others.

His sound is versatile, being seen as either spacey, "wall of sound" esque, or raw,

dependent on the context needed.
